Gambas em Pimentos (Prawns in Peppers)


Ingredients:
  • 1/2 kg of fresh or frozen prawns
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 orange or yellow pepper
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 onion 
  • 3 tbsp of olive oil
  • 4 tbsp whiskey
  • salt and black pepper



    1- In a medium size frying pan, put the olive oil together with the chopped onion and garlic cloves until golden.

    2- Join the finely chopped peppers and let them cook in medium-low heat for 10-15 min.

    3- Join the prawns and the whiskey and let cook in medium heat for 15 min.

    4- Season with salt and pepper as you wish and serve with rice. Bom apetite ;)
