It's a much beloved dish in Portugal, made all over the country, especially in the summer. This recipe is from a cooking website www.receitasemenus.net . Enjoy with a nice beer and some friends!
Ingredients:
- 1kg / 35.3 oz of clams
- 2 tbsp of olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 lemon
- 1 coriander sprig
- salt
- pepper
1- Wash the clams in salt water until all the sand has come off.
2- Put the frying pan on the stove with the olive oil and the sliced garlics until golden. Join the clams with the fine sliced coriander and season it with salt and pepper. Stir from time to time.
3- When all the clams are open cut half lemon put the juice on the clams.
4- Cut the other half of the lemon in quarters and serve the clams with it. Enjoy!
